James Luta PhD
Managing Partner
Dr. James Luta is the Managing Partner of James, Associates & Partners and its affiliated Migrate to Canada Group. He is a renowned minority rights activist with a Doctorate in human and group rights. He is currently the national Chairperson of the Canadian Bar International Students’ Association, he has been the Vice president of the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers (BC Chapter) and Chief Legal Officer of the Canadian Assisted Travel Society. James also volunteers as an Adjudicator with the Refugee Hearing Program.
James Luta has advocated for refugees, children, women, migrants and acid attack victims; guest lectured on human rights at Greenwich and Thames Valley Universities; and worked with the Chambers’ Section of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. His specialty is Immigration law focusing on European and North American Immigration. James is presently focusing on Canadian Immigration Law and Citizenship By Investment.
Dr. James dedicates his time to offering a professional and customer focused service and volunteers at several charitable organizations. He is also a writing enthusiast who frequently guest writes for the Observer and the Independent.

Ogoamaka Egboka
Partner
Ogoamaka Egboka is a quasi partner with James Associates and Partners. She is a Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. She was prior to that an in-house counsel in Nigeria and a proud Alumni of Ryerson University’s Law Practice Program.
Ogoamaka believes in fighting for her client’s rights in Criminal Defence, Immigration and Personal Injury Law. Her empathic approach to her clients is second to none. She adequately manages client’s expectations and passionately advocates for client causes.
Ogoamaka will be overseeing our Toronto client base and will be a valuable clog in ensuring readily available legal help whenever needed.
Rukh-Shana Namuyimba
Corporate Communications Consultant
Rukh-Shana is a seasoned Communication Specialist with over fifteen (15) years’ experience, seven (7) progressively in the sphere of corporate communication. Her expertise ranges from Media & Public relations, Reputational risk management, Stakeholder management, Technical writing to Events management. She has taken the lead in managing the reputation of some notable brands in East Africa including MTN Uganda, East African Breweries – Uganda (Diageo), Afrimax T/A Vodafone Uganda and dfcu Bank.
Rukh-Shana has a passion for community development with a focus on philanthropic and sustainability projects in under-served communities with at least seven (7) years’ experience in managing evaluation and implementation of Sustainability and Responsibility Programs in the focus areas of Education, Health, and Water & Sanitation.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts (Honors) – Communications (Major), Literature & English language (Minor) with extensive training in her line of work both in communications and the media.
Rukh-Shana is a member of the Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) and a mentor with the project Girls for Girls supporting the next generation of women leaders. A celebrated journalist and newscaster, Rukh-Shana is a two-time winner of the RTV Academy Award-Best English Anchor and two-time winner of the Media Challenge Initiative ‘Rosemary Nankabirwa Award’.
Her experience in Corporate Communications makes her a valuable member of the team.

Lydia Namayanja
Ugandan Executive Officer
Lydia is the Ugandan Country Executive Officer for James, Associates and Partners. She has fourteen years’ expertise in Administration, Public Relations and Admissions in one of the best International Schools in East Africa; Rainbow International School Uganda. Herein she has overseen several students travel all over the world to study.
Lydia in her role as CEO in the past five years has overseen the initial stages of Canadian visa applications in most categories. She is a person of great integrity, honesty and has an excellent work ethic. She is polite, helpful, confident and a cordial person who handles clients with equal aplomb. With her renowned bubbly personality; she creates a very positive public face to clients.
Lydia is a committed Christian and mother who loves reading, travelling and delights in changing lives through the work she does.
Jon Green
Consultant
Jon is Director of Global Sales for Latitude Consultancy, a leading Citizenship and Residence planning firm. He has over ten years of experience in the industry working with private clients, law firms, family offices and financial service providers interested in residency and citizenship programs for their clients. He has an intimate knowledge of residency and citizenship acquisition processes, real estate procurement and investment and developer relations.
Before joining Latitude, Jon was a Partner of Henley & Partners Canada, focusing on Business Development and Sales Management for the North American market. Prior to that, he worked in sales and marketing for high-end real estate projects and has a wide range of experience promoting ski, gold and sand destinations. He has been involved with projects throughout the world, including Canada, the US, the Caribbean, South East Asia and Europe.

Elina Geselev
Consultant
Elina has built her career as a Licensed Canadian Immigration Consultant since 2008. She has prior work experience with various federal government departments, including Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB), Environment Canada, Transport Canada and Pacific Council. Her area of expertise includes Canadian visitor visas, study and work permits, Express Entry as well as Business Immigration to Canada and USA. Currently, Elina is leading a successful practice providing immigration advice and services to individuals and companies in Canada and overseas. She is also a faculty member of Ashton College in Vancouver where she is teaching immigration consultancy courses.
Elina is a consultant with us and deals with our Business Immigration and Investor Programs in Canada and USA inquiries.

Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant
Marian is a seasoned Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant since March 2013. As a former Immigrant, she is best placed to provide a personal service to clients in all categories. She managed one of the biggest Consultancy in British Columbia, and with 5 years consultancy experience always provides impeccable and reliable service in all Canadian immigration categories.
Marian is also an alumni of Ashton College where she obtained a diploma in Canadian Immigration and also graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Marian’s experience and educational background makes her a very knowledgeable and competent advisor and representative.
Ronald Ochoo
Associate (Uganda)
Ronald Ochoo is an entrepreneur, Investment consultant, Lawyer and human resources specialist with interest in helping the youths leverage on their skills. Ronald holds a Bachelor of Laws Hons. Degree from Uganda Christian University, a Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources from Uganda Management Institute, currently pursuing a Master in Management Studies (Research) and Master of Science in Leadership and Governance at Uganda Management Institute and Makerere University respectively.
Ronald’s expertise is in Recruitment, Leadership and Management, Organizational Development and Management, Business Restructuring, Career Guidance, Coaching and niche in Transactional Commercial Law and real property transaction. With over 6 years work experience in Human Resources and Law, Ronald is passionate about helping businesses make the most out of the available resources and talents and helping individuals make the most of their job search and career growth. Ronald has partnered with a fellow Global Shaper from Belgium to establish the first Artificial Intelligence employment portal placement system in Uganda besides working as a consultant on matters investments.
